30/10/03: Peanut rehomed *updated 12/11/03* |
|
|
Peanut, one of the most well
known dogs ever to have stayed at Llys Nini, has
been rehomed today. The young cocker spaniel was
brought to the Llys Nini Animal Centre in
Penllergaer when his owner found that he was wholly
deaf and had poor vision. Following an appeal to
the public, hundreds of people answered the call
for funds to pay for an expensive operation to
improve his sight. The people of South Wales and
beyond came to his rescue and Peanut had his op. He
has made a good recovery and now enjoys better
sight than ever before.
Many homes were offered to
Peanut, who is now with the Williams family in
Rhos, Ponterdawe. He has settled in well with their
existing German Shepherd and is all set for a happy
life. |
