16/02/06: Are you ready for Chip'n'Pin?

Chip'n'Pin - a German Shepherd cross puppy

A stray German Shepherd cross puppy has been given a novel name by RSPCA’s Merthyr Clinic. The five month old pup arrived at the clinic a few weeks ago, having been found straying in the St. Mellons area of Cardiff. As a result of a fractured femur and previous injuries, a pin was inserted into the young dog’s leg. The combination of the pup’s bright personality and surgery inspired clinic staff to an original name – Chip’n Pin!

He has now been relocated to RSPCA’s Llys Nini Animal Centre and is waiting eagerly for new and loving owners.

For further information please call Llys Nini Animal Centre on 01792 229435 or email the reception desk: info@llysnini-rspca.org.uk.
